This decision was taken today by the People’s Support Headquarters, which includes representatives of almost all social movements of the republic.
“Sergey Sokol is a worthy candidate. We went through multiple election campaigns together. He has an impressive track record. He worked both in the execution and defense industry. Combined with his professional experience, human upbringing, willingness to listen and hear people, I am sure that he will be in demand and appreciated by the inhabitants of the republic,” Turchak wrote.
According to him, Sergei Sokol “has an understanding of how and where the region should be moved, what needs to be done so that the inhabitants of Khakassia can live with dignity and be proud of their region.”
“Now United Russia is holding a preliminary vote. Together with the neighborhood residents, we determine who will represent the party in the parliamentary elections at all levels.”
