NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the issue of ensuring Ukraine’s security will be on the agenda at the North Atlantic Alliance summit to be held in Vilnius in the summer. He said this at a press conference in Ukraine, reports TASS.
“I understand that President Zelensky will raise the issues of Ukraine’s membership and Ukraine’s security guarantees at the NATO summit in Vilnius, which will be among the priorities of the agenda,” Stoltenberg said.
According to him, the main goal of the North Atlantic Alliance is to ensure the victory of Ukraine. Stoltenberg added that Kiev’s victory would be a way to “have a meaningful discussion about Ukraine’s future membership”.
