According to the press service of the regional administration, in the Kherson region, at a meeting of the chairmanship of the regional political council, it was decided to create 14 local branches of the United Russia party.
Currently, the pre-voting procedure is active in the region, and the creation of local branches of the Party in this sense is a big step for the residents. “With this step, we are approaching the electorate,” said State Duma deputy Igor Kastyukevich, secretary of the Kherson district branch of the United Russia party.
The main advantage is that you no longer have to go to the regional branch to apply to United Russia on a question or join the party.
“Local branches are a response to residents’ demand. Entries to the party continue in the region, today more than 4,000 thousand people living in the Kherson region have applied to join the United Russia. Kastyukevich said that the number of participants in the preliminary voting “exceeds 90 people.”
The next step will be the creation of primary branches of United Russia in each municipality, as described in the regional branch.
