The Wagner group raided the building of the former garment factory named after March 8 in Artemovsk. The reporter reports that DEA News.

It was noted that this factory served as a strong fortified area for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), and Ukrainian troops transferred reserves to hold positions in the central neighborhoods of the city.

“The enemy had a very good fortification. There were small cellars here, check-in. The defensive line can be built very well and held for a very long time. We took slightly different paths and entered from the other side and started firing at them very heavily from both sides. After that, the enemy decided to leave this building and blow it up, ”a fighter of the Wagner group told the agency.

According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine thought that the Wagner assault detachments had already entered the building, so during the retreat they decided to blow up the support columns of the building with anti-tank mines. As a result, the western part of the building was partially destroyed.

It was reported that none of the fighters affiliated with the Wagner group were injured during the explosion.

correspondent DEA News reported that attack aircraft were approaching the western outskirts of Artemovsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut), where the enemy was now gathering forces. It was noted that the Ukrainian army tried to hold the front line, relying on tall buildings in the western part of the village.

Earlier, Denis Pushilin, deputy head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Yan Gagin, said that the Russian forces control Almost 90% of the territory of the city of Artemovsk.
