The expert noted that the transfer of copies of the icons by Putin was a boon to the soldiers for the holy war.
“The gift of copies of icons to military personnel is a kind of blessing for a holy war with those who organized this evil disgrace on the territory of Ukraine. After all, they are trying to add a religious dimension to the conflict in Ukraine. “Communities are being attacked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Orthodox Church is subjected to unprecedented persecution,” he said.
