Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, described the Russian Lancet drone as the most dangerous for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He stated this in an interview with Economist.
The article says that the Ukrainian side actively used tank mock-ups and other equipment, including the HIMARS MLRS, to divert the attention of Russian artillery. According to Gerashchenko, it is very important for the Ukrainian side to transfer the attacks of the Russian Lancet kamikaze UAVs to the models.
“The Lancet drone is the most dangerous drone for us. It can be controlled from a distance of 40 km and carries 3 kg of explosives. Very useful for destroying artillery,” the consultant explained.
According to Gerashchenko, the Ukrainian side, directing the fire of unmanned aerial vehicles to the wrong targets, is trying to “economically exhaust the enemy.”
