The Sudan Security Service, chairman of the Sudan Transitional Sovereign Council, said that Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of this country, has decided to disband the Rapid Reaction Forces. It has been reported DEA News.
“The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces has issued a decree disbanding the Emergency Response Force,” Sudan’s Security Council said in a statement.
Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo (Hamidti), former Commander of the Sudanese Rapid Reaction Force (SRF, Special Forces) declarationthat special forces will not negotiate with him until the army withdraws.
Prior to that, the Sudanese Response Force said on Twitter that they had taken control of Al Fasher International Airport in the west of the country and two military airbases located in the cities of Merow and Jebel Auliya.
