Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that a rocket hit a residential building in Slovyansk. He wrote this on his Facebook (Meta’s owner was considered extremist and banned in Russia).
According to Zelensky, the rocket hit a five-story residential building, killing five people.
The information was confirmed by the head of the Donetsk Regional Civil Administration, Pavel Kirilenko, on the Telegram channel. According to him, five high-rise buildings, a store, five private houses, an economic center, a club and three cars were damaged as a result of the missile attack on the city.
He added that 7 people, including a child, could be under the rubble. Slavyansk mayor Vadim Lyakh reported that several people came.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has repeatedly stated that Russian troops do not attack civilian targets in Ukraine.
