South Korea and the United States held a joint aviation exercise after North Korea launched the Hwaseong-18 intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). This has been reported Web site Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Korea.

It was stated that at least one B-52H strategic bomber, Korean F-35A and F-15K warplanes from the ROK Air Force, and American F-16s participated in the exercise. It was not reported in which part of the Korean Peninsula the exercise was carried out.

“The Republic of Korea and the United States will continue to demonstrate their commitment to their strong alliance that will not tolerate a nuclear attack from North Korea,” the ministry said.

For the first time on the eve of the DPRK produced Launch of the Hwaseong-18 solid propellant ballistic missile. The launch was led by North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. This is Pyongyang’s 12th missile launch since the beginning of 2023.
