The World Bank donated 181.9 million euros to Ukraine
The World Bank announced Tuesday that it will provide $200m (€181.9m) in aid to repair the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, which was severely affected by Russian bombing after the start of the war.
Funding will come from the Ukraine Relief, Recovery, Reconstruction and Reform Trust Fund (URTF), with an additional $300 million (272.8 million euros) provided by partners in aid and other contributions as the project continues.
Electricity transmission and heating systems are among the systems to be repaired within the scope of the Winter and Energy Resources Restoration Project. In this way, autotransformer, transmission transformer, relay protection, mobile boiler etc. equipment will be delivered.
