Acting Governor of Kherson region Vladimir Saldo said that the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station in the region is protected from bombardment. DEA News.

According to him, there is no point in attracting an international mission to this HEPP.

“Now the Kakhovskaya HEPP is adequately protected against bombardment by other means. And in general, there is no such international organization as the IAEA in the field of the hydroelectric power industry,” he said.

Citing a source earlier, RIA Novosti stated that Kiev’s order intensify the shelling of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station to interfere with the work of the station personnel to restore it, and then bring its people there.

Currently, a special operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is underway in Ukraine. On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch. According to him, the purpose of military action is to demilitarize the neighboring country and to navy the authorities.
