A girl from England risks dying from a rare illness every time she goes to bed or watches Peppa Pig, writes. LADBible.
When Sadie Boyer was born, she was in intensive care for six months due to congenital central hyperventilation syndrome. Trying to alleviate the condition of the girl, the doctors opened her a tracheostomy to help the child breathe.
Sadie’s mom says her brain “forgets to breathe” when her daughter is asleep or focusing on something like watching Peppa Pig. A preschooler’s condition means that he should not be left unattended.
“It starts to turn blue, it gets very quiet. I’m putting him on the ventilator right away,” the woman added.
Sadie’s family is raising money to install diaphragmatic pacemakers that will help her breathe without mechanical ventilation – the surgery costs $200,000.
The British woman previously said she slept 22 hours a day. due to a rare condition.
