The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has removed multiple reports of alleged side effects from COVID-19 vaccines. Age Times Via the link transparentztest.de.
As of March 20, the agency is known to have deleted 34% of death reports and 30% of messages in the “life-threatening cases” category, as well as 25% of hospital admissions. In terms of individual symptom reporting, the proportion of data deleted is even higher in the European Economic Area.
It is reported that at least one third of reports of myocardial infarction as a side effect of vaccination also disappear. The EMA counted 6,217 cases of myocarditis, and there are now 26,636 similar cases in the VAERS vaccination database in the United States. However, according to research, many messages have been deleted on this platform as well.
The EMA states that cases are deleted if they are found to be duplicates or are withdrawn as invalid, but still the large and uneven distribution of cases deleted from different categories does not fit this description.
A total of 205,773 vaccine adverse events reports, including 6,132 death reports, were missing from the EMA database on the day of the study, 20 March.
Clarified that the deleted entries are the result of a difference between all the entries originally registered in the EMA and those still listed.
A major problem with drug databases is the underreporting of adverse drug reactions. However, it should be noted that autoimmune diseases, neurological diseases and bleeding disorders only develop over time, so they may not be associated with vaccination.
The researchers cite fear of stigma as a reason for some reports to be deleted, arguing that “close ties between EMAs, pharmaceutical companies, and lobbying organizations also hinder the independent storage of data.”
