Lvova-Belova said that she had read the court decision and that neither the defendant nor the lawyer objected to the chosen preventive measure.

The prevention authorities then sued both parents to limit their parenting rights. She noted that her father was repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility for improper performance of parenting duties: in February last year, the girl began to skip school, and from April, her father completely stopped going to her, while she was not communicating with teachers.

Speaking about the boy’s mother, Lvova-Belova said that she “almost never participated in the life of Masha.” The girl remains on SRTSN at her request.

“We showed the prevention authorities additional ways out of the situation. Upon our recommendation, they intensified the search for the close circle and tried to transfer the girl to her relatives. There were relatives on the paternal side, but so far they have refused to take custody of Masha, ”the official said.

The Ombudsman also said that the girl had been visited by a specialist psychologist at the Ombudsman’s office and concluded that the girl missed her father and wanted to visit him.

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus confirmed the detention of Alexei Moskalev, a resident of the Tula region. The man was detained at the request of the Russian police.

Prior to that, Moskalev had escaped house arrest before the verdict was announced. According to preliminary data, the man escaped by cutting the electronic bracelets.

Court prisoner Moskaleva was sentenced to two years in prison. His daughter, Maria, who he raised alone, was placed in a social rehabilitation center.
