The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Igor Klymenko, said that the Ukrainian authorities will not seize the small arms distributed to the citizens until the conflict ends. He said this on the broadcast of the Ukrainian telethon, reports DEA News.
According to Klymenko, “all weapons legally issued to citizens, including units of the National Police” are included in the accounting database, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine does not see any problems in controlling their use. In this context, as the head of the department stated, weapons will remain in the hands of Ukrainian citizens until the conflict ends.
