Mediterranean LAB FoundationL’Associació de Científiques i Científiques i Científics d’Excel·lència del Pla, a project supported by the Valencian Association of Entrepreneurs (AVE), will organize a meeting between researchers and businessmen next Tuesday, March 21st, together with GenT.Accent), Alicante Family Business Association (AEFA), Valencia Entrepreneurs Association (bird), Alicante RoomValencia Community Business Confederation (ANSWER), King Jaume I Awards Foundation (FPRJI), University of Alicante (au) and Miguel Hernández University (Ah), with the aim of promoting synergy between entrepreneurs and researchers.

The event will take place in person, starting at 11:00 am. main restaurant (Calle Andalucía, 18, Alicante), with a great networking opportunity among participants.

The session will be opened by Alberto Gutierrez Fundación LAB President and CEO of Aquaservice and gonzalo abellanHead of AccenT.

After the welcome, there will be a dialogue that will revolve around the connection between research and the company. nuria oliveco-founder and director of ELLIS Alicante and Damia Tormo, moderated by managing partner and co-founder of Columbus Venture Partners Jose Maria Gomez GrasProfessor of Business Organization at the University of Elche Miguel Hernández (UMH).

Next, seven distinguished AccenT fellow researchers will present their fields of study and practical applications to the business world: Rose Aran (AU), Amilcar Bedoya (UV), bald kings (AU), Jordi Gamir (UJI), Ibrahim Mendoza (UV), Carlos Sabater (AU) and Antonio Jose Signes (UMH).

The day will end with the dialogue between raul martinFamilia Martínez Corporate General Manager, CEO of KM ZERO Food Innovation Hub and Member of the Executive Board of Fundación LAB Mediterráneo and Mary Carmen Vidal Dacsa Group’s head of product development will discuss its commitment to R&D and development to solve business challenges.

Mediterranean LAB Foundation

The LAB Mediterráneo Foundation is a project born out of AVE with a mission to position the Community of Valencia as a hub. National and European benchmark in entrepreneurship, innovation, technology and research.

To achieve this, it set five goals: promoting the creation and appeal of tech startups; work to attract national and international technology companies to settle in the Valencian Community and create a ‘tractor effect’; promoting support for companies in non-tech sectors to accelerate your digital transformation; Contributing to increased private investment in R&D+i; and helps further research.
