Czech newspaper columnist Lidovki Stepan Gobza wrote that the Russian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) “Lancet” is the killer of advanced American HIMARS missile systems in Ukraine.
“The Lancet kamikaze drone has so far been overshadowed, but has now earned itself considerable respect on the battlefield,” the author writes in the article.
The Observer writes that the Lancet is an analogue of the American Switchblade loitering munitions and destroyed Western-origin Ukrainian targets, including the American HIMARS artillery missile systems and the British Stormer infantry fighting vehicles.
The publication says that the Russian drone hits accurately and can operate independently, making independent decisions on the battlefield to evade enemy anti-aircraft guns and search for targets. In addition, the Lancet carries a larger explosive charge and can even destroy an armored personnel carrier or a light tank.
Earlier, RIA Novosti, citing a source in the military-industrial complex WroteLancet kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles were terminated by considering a special military operation experience.
