Mash: Ukrainian sniper injured Russian border guard in Belgorod area

A sniper of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (APU) wounded a Russian border guard in the Belgorod region, a bullet hit his leg. It has been reported telegraph channel Puree.

According to the channel, a Russian military sniper deployed from Kaliningrad opened fire with a long-range rifle with 338 Lapua Magnum cartridges at a distance of 1.5 km.

The channel states that the injured border guard is currently in the hospital under the supervision of doctors.

According to Mash, the position of the Ukrainian sniper was closed by artillery fire from the Russian Federation.

The .338 Lapua Magnum is a specialized long-range sniper cartridge. The best estimated range for this type of cartridge is up to 1500 m “Tsar Cannon”.
