A freight train carrying dangerous goods derailed in the US state of Arizona. The newspaper reported New York Times with reference to local authorities.
The accident occurred on the evening of March 15, near the town of Topok in Mojave County.
Anita Mortensen, spokeswoman for the Mojave County Sheriff’s Office, confirmed that the train derailed with Arizona near the California and Nevada border. He did not provide any additional information.
According to Fox10, railroad company BNSF and the US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have already been notified of the emergency, they have launched an investigation.
