The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has detained a former employee who actively encouraged colleagues to escape and threatened to disclose his personal data otherwise. This was reported on the episode’s Telegram channel.
According to the statement made by the SBU, the accused left office at the beginning of 2022 and then moved to one of the EU countries. He called SBU officers from abroad and promised that “everything will be fine” with them after he escaped. In denial, the man threatened to reveal the personal data of his former colleagues to the public. The accused was detained after crossing the border with Ukraine in March 2023. He is accused of treason and desertion.
