Olivia Quast admitted she didn’t like dogs until she went to live with her boyfriend Graham, who has a six-year-old dog. In February, a woman bent over to feed her pet while holding a teeth whitening device in her mouth. The previously friendly pet clung to the American woman’s face and bit her nose.

Quast barely fends off the dog, rushes to safety and calls the doctors. After the incident, her boyfriend decided to euthanize the pet. Olivia also required several surgeries and a long course of treatment. The woman still does not believe what happened and believes that this is how the animal reacted to the ultraviolet rays from the device.

“I didn’t know the dog would jump on me. It was a complete shock,” the American commented.

Earlier the dog attacked the British and gnawed his tendons on the side.
