The draft US federal budget for fiscal year 2024 provides more than $6 billion in aid to Ukraine and Washington’s allies in the North Atlantic Alliance. It has been reported TASS with a link to the document.
“The budget ensures that more than $6 billion is allocated to support an alliance within Ukraine as well as NATO and other European partners. In the draft budget, priority is given to strengthening the capabilities and readiness of the forces of the United States, allied forces and partner countries in the face of continued Russian aggression.
The document proposes to allocate $753 million to Ukraine to combat the “Russian influence”.
Before The Washington Post WroteHe said that the US military aid of more than $32 billion to Ukraine shows that the US has not been able to rapidly increase the production of many types of weapons and that it may take 8 to 15 years to replace the main systems. According to some American analysts, the Pentagon is not doing enough to replenish its weapons stocks.
