Epic Games has published Epic Games Store statistics for 2022, and also shared plans for the further development of the store.

- Monthly audience — 68 million (+6 million per year);
- Spent on epic games – $820 million ($840 million in 2021)
- Spent on games by third-party studios – $355 million ($300 million in 2021)
- 626 new games added;
- 99 games given away for free (89 in 2021);
- 700 million copies of games have been given away for free (765 million in 2021);
- The total value of the games distributed is $2,240.
The most successful games on the Epic Games Store in 2022 were genshin effect, rocket competition, Little Tina’s Wonderland, GTA 5 and Fortnite.
