The Russian army managed to hit the headquarters of the 59th motorized infantry brigade of the Ukrainian army on the territory of the DPR. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“The headquarters of the 59th motorized infantry brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was shot down in the Memrik enclave of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” said representatives of the Russian military department.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, in the residential area of Novovleksandrovka in the DPR, a radar station for detecting 36D6 low-flying air targets was also destroyed. This station belonged to the Ukrainian side.
The Ministry of Defense also added that in total, Russian operational-tactical and army aviation, missile forces and artillery defeated 87 artillery units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in firing positions last day.
