The Deep End presented the release trailer Romancelvania is an unusual mix of Castlevania and a dating sim. The game tells about the vampire Drak, who ends up in a local reality show like “The Bachelor” in search of love.
In terms of gameplay, the game is a side-scroller where you have to fight opponents and look for secrets. Sometimes the hero comes across plot characters with whom you can start a romantic relationship. There are quite a few potential partners: there’s Medusa, Cthulhu, a beefy werewolf, and even a talking pumpkin.
At the moment, the project only has 12 Steam reviews and almost all of them are negative. The game has been criticized for almost boring and raw gameplay, as well as bugs and crashes.
Romancelvania is available on PC (Steam, EGS), PlayStation and Xbox. Art is not only dedicated to the twins of Atomic Heart – Eleanor’s passionate repair closet also received love from fans.
