Scientists from the Perm National Research Polytechnic University (Perm Polytechnic University) have developed a high-strength asphalt concrete coating. It is reported on the portal. “Scientific Russia”.
“Scientists <…> “It changed the usual composition of asphalt concrete and increased its strength properties and therefore durability.”
As can be seen from the material, innovative technology involves the use of only domestically produced components.
According to scientists, instead of conventional bitumen and tar, it was decided to use a modifier in the form of granules based on oxidized petroleum bitumen with polymer additives as an asphalt binder. According to the results of the experiments, the university staff highly appreciated the relevance and quality of the updated composition.
It was noted that the work was carried out under the state program “Safe and quality roads”, designed to improve the strength characteristics of asphalt concrete pavement, especially on bridges.
Ancient Russian scientists reported on the development of nanogenerators that convert the deformations and vibrations of urban noise and human speech into electrical energy.
