The 42-year-old Lukhovits resident was in a relationship with the 37-year-old Lublino resident. Both had previous convictions for theft and both were heavily in debt. At some point, the lovers quarreled and broke up, but the woman decided to reconcile. She came to the Applied Ecology Research Institute, where the man was, and tried to speak, but during the reconciliation she pulled out a knife and hit her lover in the chest.
The man needed urgent medical attention and was hospitalized. Doctors diagnosed him with a shallow stab wound.
The suspect was arrested. Law enforcement is investigating the circumstances and causes of the incident.
