Russians talk about how they relate to combining work and study

The job search and service for employees Rabota.ru and the self-employed Podrabotka service conducted a study and found out when, according to Russians, it is worthwhile to start working and whether it is possible to effectively combine work with training. More than 5,000 users participated in the survey, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.

Thus, 37% of respondents believe that young Russians should seek their first job in their student years – at the age of 19-21 years. 29% believe that the first encounter with a job should be at the age of 16-18. Almost a quarter (24%) answered that after graduating from college – 22 years later – it was worth starting a job. One in ten said it was worth starting work for the first time at age 16.

35% believe that combining work and education is the first step towards financial independence, another 35% said work instills responsibility. One out of every fourth respondents (24%) said that working allows them to better manage their resources and time.

One in five respondents (21%) believe that it is impossible to successfully combine work and education. 12% stated that it is necessary to work in the field of specialization after completing their education. 11% said they needed to stay focused and get the most out of their learning.
