The Georgian government has issued a decree allowing citizens of Ukraine to stay in the country visa-free for two years. The relevant document is available at: area Georgian Council of Ministers.
In the previous resolution of 2015, the visa-free period for Ukrainians was 12 months.
According to republican legislation, citizens of Russia do not need a visa to visit Georgia. However, they can stay in the country for a year. To extend the stay, it is sufficient to leave the country’s territory and re-enter.
Formerly Georgian bar Dedaena Bar introduced Entry “visas” for Russians, which are issued according to the results of passing a special survey. It contains questions about the geopolitical situation in the world. Guests must promise not to speak Russian or hold political discussions with staff.
