In France, there was a case of an officer forcing women to pee in front of him. In some cases, photos were taken during the process. Describes this event and its consequences for an officer thelocal.fr.
On Thursday, February 16, a Paris court fined the French Ministry of Culture for a crime committed by a former senior official of the department. He was accused of spilling liquor on women to force them to pee in front of them on dates. It is assumed that he added drugs to the drink.
The court ruling comes three years after the former human resources officer was charged with sexual assault, breach of privacy and drug offenses. He was fired from the French ministry in early 2019 after police detained him and launched an investigation.
The court ruled that the injured woman, who applied for a job and came to meet with the convict, should be paid 12 thousand euros to the Ministry of Culture and 1,500 euros for litigation expenses.
It is even known that he offered her coffee at the beginning of the meeting and after drinking the coffee, he invited the woman for a walk in the Tuileries Garden near the ministry building. Soon the victim felt a strong urge to urinate and even pain, so she was forced to go to the bathroom in the presence of a staff member just under a nearby bridge. He was later hospitalized.
The investigation revealed that the convict harassed dozens of women in this way over several years and kept a list of his victims on his computer, often with photos of urination.
Ministry representatives stated that they were not aware of what the official did.
However, six of the convict’s female colleagues are on trial for harassment and violation of privacy, and will also receive compensation according to the court decision. Payment amounts were not disclosed.
Franck Rester, who was the Minister of Culture of France at the time the case was filed, stated that he was shocked when he learned about the incident and described the incident as “a crazy act of a pervert”.
The later convicted official admitted in an interview with a French newspaper that he had given drugs to 10 or 20 women and regretted not having been stopped earlier.
