At the Shilovo training ground in the Novosibirsk Region, the soldiers of the special forces unit of the Central Military District (TsVO) gave lectures on developing methodology for training pairs of snipers. It has been reported Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the agency, the snipers’ ability to act in camouflage and stealth in wooded areas and destroy targets was implemented.
“The pair of snipers faced the task of sneaking forward, preparing the firing position, hiding it using improvised and special means, and destroying the target at a distance of up to 1 kilometer, instead of a combat training mission.” says report.
It was noted that “special conditions were created that made it difficult to complete the task” by using special lighting equipment and sound effects during the lesson.
“The use of this technique allows military personnel to improve their combat skills without being distracted by distracting factors,” says the Russian Ministry of Defense.
