CEO of YouTube, Susan Wojcicki announced his decision to step down as CEO. The video platform that Alphabet has occupied for nine years.
“Today, after almost 25 years here, I decided to step back from my role as YouTube director and start a new chapter focusing on my family, health and personal projects that I am passionate aboutWojcicki, 54, announced.
In this sense, Wojcicki himself reported: Neal Mohan will be the CEO of YouTube. He added that in the short term, he will support his successor and help with the transition, including working with some YouTube teams, training team members, and meeting with creators.
In the longer term, The executive stated that he has reached an agreement with Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai to assume an advisory role at Google and Alphabet.
“This will allow me to benefit from the different experiences I have gained over the years. Advice and guidance on Google and Alphabet’s portfolio of companies,” he said.
