Andreas Kronthaler, the widow of Vivienne Westwood, addressed the audience. In his speech, Kronthaler recalled how he had met Westwood when he was a student at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and Westwood was a teacher. “I looked at her and realized that she is my favorite girl and that I will be with her forever,” she shared.
Vivienne Westwood passed away on December 29. The British fashion designer “died peacefully with his family” at his home in the London suburb of Clapham. She was 81 years old.
