Japan has promised to send additional aid to Syria and Turkey to overcome the consequences of the earthquake and save the victims. TASS with regard to the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“We offer our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in this natural disaster. As part of our assistance today, we have sent five medical professionals to Turkey to assess the immediate needs of the local population. <…> “We also decided to deliver a batch of humanitarian aid consisting of sleeping bags, warm blankets and tents to the Syrian authorities,” said Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi.
He added that a team of dozens of medical experts will also go to Turkey.
Previously, the United States Department of the Treasury temporarily caused Assistance to Syria after earthquakes under sanctions.
The draft resolution states that we are talking about lifting restrictions on the collection and transfer of funds to support these operations, but the ban on interaction with oil-related transactions, sanctioned persons and the government of the republic remains.
