Behind the long name lies mainly a new transfer case, which is being created as part of an import replacement for the heaviest trucks with a total weight of 34 tons. The previous RK for vehicles weighing up to 27 tons is not suitable in terms of performance. The South Ural State University was chosen as a scientific partner – the Urals already have successful projects with it, in particular the Arctic Bus for the Far North.

It is planned to develop a new transmission unit in three years: during this period, three types of transfer cases will be designed and mastered in production, differing in input torque – 1200, 1800 and 2500 kgf / m. These transfer cases will be used on the full range of all-wheel drive Ural vehicles.
