Earthquake in Turkey felt in Yerevan

The second earthquake that occurred in Turkey at 13.24 (Moscow time) was felt in Yerevan, Armenia with a magnitude of 3 points. In this respect reported Armenian Seismic Protection Service.

It was recorded that tremors of 3-4 points were felt in the city of Gyumri.

On the morning of February 6, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 (some sources indicate 7.4 – approximately) occurred in Turkey. The epicenter of the earthquake was Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş. The shaking was also felt in Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Kayseri, Mersin, Trabzon and Urfa. The highest alert level was declared in the country due to the earthquake.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the following as a result of the tremors in the country: dead 912 people and 5385 people were injured in varying degrees.

On the same day, earthquakes occurred in Syria, Iraq and Lebanon. According to the latest data, in Syria dead 326 people, more than a thousand people were injured.
