Pedro Fernández, CEO of the group, emphasizes that the new production center will help meet global customer needs and support ongoing industry collaboration, while also contributing to Alicante’s local business ecosystem. Forest Chemicals Group was founded in 2010 by Pedro Fernández and Sergio Vega, two chemists from the University of Alicante who identified opportunities in adhesives and nanotechnology. Their early investments in research have driven the development of customized packaging adhesives for clients worldwide. Over the years, the group has collaborated with major brands across diverse industries, including Porcelanosa, Bonnysa, Smurfit Kappa, Zara, Barbadillo, Bocopa and Marqués de Cáceres, among others.

Today, the headquarters in Alicante employs a growing team of professionals, with around fifty people contributing to research, development, and production efforts that support the firm’s global operations.
