“I believe that this monastery will eventually join the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Then the question of the Pochaev Lavra will arise. I am sure that in the future the laurels will belong to a single OCU, ”said Epiphany.
He noted that he would work with the Ukrainian authorities to transfer the monasteries to his organization. Epiphanius suggested that the Lower Lavra, which was transferred to the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) for permanent use, would also go to the OCU.
“We have registered our legal personality; there will be monks to join our monastery,” said Epiphanius.
