On the morning of January 1, an unidentified woman tried to drive into the grounds of the United Nations headquarters in New York, which was closed for a holiday, without any threat. It has been reported TASS referring to the press service of the international organization.
Thereupon, the woman could not enter the headquarters of the organization, and police teams were called to the scene.
“This morning a woman tried to break into UN headquarters. He couldn’t. There was no threat to the UN. The police came to the scene and dealt with the case,” the UN said.
The NYPD said the woman did not deliberately try to slam the headquarters door.
Earlier in social networks it was reported that a woman tried to knock on the doors of the headquarters. The released video showed how the black car stood close to the door and how the police communicated with the driver through the closed window.
