President of the Crimean Parliament Vladimir Konstantinov, telegraph channel He stated that the region is ready to receive UN experts to personally familiarize themselves with the events on the peninsula.
According to him, we are talking about a decision presented by Ukraine that refers to the alleged facts of human rights violations in Crimea.
“These notorious “UN experts” are watching the rights of the Crimean people from the corner. We were always ready for them to enter our territory so that they could learn about the situation in this matter directly and from the words of others, ”Konstantinov said.
UN General Assembly accepted Ukraine’s decision on Crimea on 16 December. The document states that human rights have been violated in Crimea. The resolution was supported by 82 countries, 80 abstained and 13 opposed.
The text of the resolution also calls on Russia to take necessary measures to “immediately put an end to all violations and abuses against the inhabitants of Crimea”.
