Zelensky: “Russia turned the city of Bakhmut into “burnt ruin”
Ukrainian President Volodímir Zelensky condemned this Friday that Russia has “turned the city of Bakhmut in the Donbas region into scorched ruin”. The situation at the front “is very difficult in the key areas of the Donbas: Bakhmut, Soledar, Maryinka, Kreminna … For a long time there was no place to live on the territory of these regions. “The invaders have effectively destroyed Bakhmut, another city in Donbass that the Russian army had burned into ruins,” he said.
The President of Ukraine reminded that the ten-item peace formula proposed by his government also includes restoring the country’s territorial integrity.
