‘Aruser@s weekend’ won’t be back sixth See you next year. The Atresmedia chain announced this Wednesday that during the holidays. Qatar World Cup 2022 is the program that Alfonso Arús presents and directs on Saturday afternoons, a period to mingle with the Christmas afternoons.
In a press release sent to the media, the audio-visual group places the program’s return in the Saturday afternoon range at the beginning of next 2023.
laSexta’s decision comes later ‘Aruser@s weekend’ records a new maximum in viewer data. The Alfonso Arús format has maintained a positive trend since its September premiere, recording a 5.6% share (578,000 average viewers) and 4,398,000 unique viewers last Saturday.
In just two months, the domain has managed to increase laSexta’s channel viewership this Saturday by one percentage point (5.0%) compared to the average the channel held in 2022 for that timeframe. This translates to a +25% increase in the channel’s audience.
This good development also coincides with the success of ‘Aruser@s’ at laSexta in the morning. The laSexta show took the absolute lead for 6 months in a row, recording an 18.2% viewer share in October, its best monthly record ever.
