Statue of Liberty reopens crown to visitors two years later

Visitors can once again access the crown of the Statue of LibertyOne of the most emblematic viewpoints in New York, which has been closed since the outbreak of the covid-19 pandemic in March 2020.

The National Park Service, which manages the monument, ceased visits in March 2020, and its crown has so far remained closed to the public, although parts of the statue have been gradually opened.
