United States President Joe Biden attended a meeting this Sunday. Ceremony at the Pentagon to coincide with the 21st anniversary of the attacks on the Twin Towers and Pentagon in New YorkDepartment of Defense headquarters, September 11, 2001.

“Terror attacked us on that deep blue morning. The sky was filled with smoke and sirens came (…). America’s history changed that day(but) the character of this nation that has not changed, that we cannot change, that will never change, that terrorists think they can harm,” he said.
The President highlighted this American “character” “sacrifice, love and generosity, strength and endurance”. Biden said, “We saw what the United States is made of in the days following 9/11,” and especially reminded the civilians, police and firefighters working in the Zero area, who took control of Flight 93 from terrorists.
As for the civilians on Flight 93, Biden stressed that they “experienced the first shots of a new war and chose to fight and sacrifice themselves to prevent their plane from being used as a weapon.”
Biden promised “never forget” stressed the need and “Give those responsible their due attacks“. “It took ten years to hunt down Osama bin Laden, but we succeeded, and this summer and I authorized an attack on Al Zawahiri, bin Laden’s right-hand man and the current leader of al-Qaeda (Ayman) on 9/11. Never Remember, we will never meet.” We will surrender and Al-Zawahiri will never again threaten the American people.”
Al-Zawahiri was killed on July 31 in the Afghan capital, Kabul, in an airstrike carried out by the United States with a drone. Biden called the attack an “act of justice”. “We will never hesitate to do whatever it takes to defend the American people,” Biden said this Sunday.
First Lady Jill Biden; Kamala Harris, vice president; and the second gentleman, Doug Emhoff, went to other bombing sites, the World Trade Center in New York, and the crash site of Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Jill Biden was at Shanksville, Harris and Emhoff were at New York eventswhere the victims’ names are read.
It’s already Saturday night two powerful light cannons opened, reminding us of the two Twin Towers Destroyed in the Manhattan attacks.
