Double Maniacs Oleg Kosarev and Valery Deev
Serial rapist, pedophile and thief Oleg Kosarev, nicknamed the “lifter”, underwent surgery in Moscow and Chekhov and Serpukhov near Moscow. In total, during his criminal career, he committed about 140 rapes, a little over 40 proven, and was sentenced to three long-term sentences in total, as the “lifter” claims.
Kosarev committed his first rape at the age of 18 – in 1984, he was first sent for compulsory treatment in a psychiatric hospital, where a man raped a nurse. He was later declared sane and sentenced to 8 years in prison.
After his release, Kosarev returned to the criminal path. Since the summer of 1992, he began to persecute schoolchildren, and then raped them at the entrance and threatened them with a knife. Sometimes the man pretended to be blind and attacked the boys and girls in the elevator.
The murders continued for several years until he was arrested in 1995 while trying to sell the loot of one of the victims. And although the man denied the crime at first, he still managed to get a confession. By that time, 40 attacks were made on the maniac’s account. The others he mentioned could not be proven because the victims refused to testify to the police.
In March 1997, Kosarev was sentenced to 15 years in prison. It served only 12.5 and was released already in 2010.
In the wild, Kosarev got married, his daughter was born. The rapist’s wife found out only a year later what her newly-made husband was sitting for. She dumped him and filed for divorce. This forced the maniac to go hunting again.
The maniac raped two girls, after which he was detained in Moscow on April 21, 2011. Kosarev was recognized by his handwriting, but this time there was something new in the case: after the rapes, the man forced his victims to drink phenazepam with diphenhydramine from a syringe, washed down with vodka.
As a result, Kosarev was accused of violence, rape and robbery and was sentenced to 20 years in prison in October 2012.
Surprisingly, in April 2011, when the maniac lifter Kosarev sat down, the “couple” Valery Deev was released. In the same 1995, he worked strictly according to the same scheme, but simultaneously with Kosarev in Moscow and other parts of the region.
Valery Deev began his criminal path long before 1995. By this time, he had been convicted twice for assaulting women. Freed tracked down teenagers, threatened them with airguns and raped them in stairwells and elevators.
He was arrested only in 1997, sentenced to 15 years in prison. Deev admitted more than 50 episodes, of which only 23 were proven.
Released in 2011, Valery repeated the fate of Kosarev – he got married immediately after his release from prison and continued his crimes. He met children on the street, invited them to his home while his wife was working, drugged and abused them, felt and touched young people in their private parts.
However, Deev was detained again, not for sexual crimes. Once again, he threw gaps at her, arguing with a neighbor. Later, details of his new crimes against children emerged.
In 2017, the maniac was sentenced to 20 years in prison for indecent acts against minors.
Black magician-pedophile Sergey Pimenov
Muscovite Sergey Pimenov, sentenced to 16 years in prison for the murder and rape of a teenager since 2004, was released from prison on parole in the fall of 2020. And even before his release, he began to prepare for future crimes.
In 2018, while serving his sentence, Pimenov created a group on VKontakte called “Black Magic”, in which he introduced himself as a magician and wrote to young people, offering to attend an initiation ceremony and attend a magic school “for boys from 12 to 18 years old.”
After his release, Pimenov moved to Dolgoprudny, near Moscow, and already there he began to implement his plans. He talked for a long time with a 15-year-old schoolboy from Moscow and persuaded him to “start”, promising to cure his seriously ill mother, who suddenly began to recover. The teenager did not even think about the fact that the healing of his mother was the merit of doctors and fell into a real psychological dependence on the offender. He finally agreed to meet with her.
On December 17, 2020, Pimenov took the boy into the forest, undressed and whipped his chest and back with a stick, lit a five-pointed star on fresh wounds from blows with a wax candle. Sergei later raped the boy. Afterwards, she did not speak for several days and wore closed clothes thinking about her mother’s recovery.
A few days later the boy nevertheless told his mother and stepfather what had happened – they immediately contacted the police.
On February 17, 2020, Pimenov was arrested, and during the investigation another victim was found in the hands of a rapist – St. A young boy from St. Petersburg. The investigation is still ongoing, Pimenov is being checked for involvement in other crimes, but even now he faces nearly 20 years in prison.
Anvar Masalimov – the first person released from life imprisonment
Anvar Masalimov from Ufa, who was behind bars twice for stabbing, then strangling and dismembering a person, became the first murderer released from life imprisonment in Russia’s history.
At the end of the 70s, Masalimov got drunk, quarreled with his colleague, stabbed him to death, and for this he sat for 15 years. The killer was released in 1991, but only a few months later he was forced to return to the “zone” again.
On August 17, 1991, Masalimov drowned a pensioner, for whom he rented a room. The reason is the same – a drunken quarrel. Masalimov tried to cut a man’s body into pieces and burn it in a stove, and when it didn’t work, he buried it in his own space. The man pleaded guilty when the pensioner burned Anvar’s clothes, documents and personal belongings. The murderer was arrested upon the notice of his neighbors.
At first, Masalimov was sentenced to death – the execution, since the ex-convict did not stop at the first crime, but in 1998 the sentence was commuted to life imprisonment due to a moratorium on the death penalty.
But fate again turned out to be favorable for Masalimov. On June 22, 2016, Anvara, who had served 25 years in prison, the last of which was in the Polar Owl, where the most brutal killers, terrorists and pedophiles were imprisoned, filed an appeal and was granted parole from the correctional colony the same day.
Having been released and returning to his hometown of Ufa, Masalimov went according to his usual scenario. First, in April 2018, the murderer was charged with murdering a drinking buddy who was nearly stabbed to death by his lover, Elena, and then another premeditated murder on November 17 of the same year.
During a drunken fight, Masalimov stabbed a knife in the liver of a friend who beat his cohabitant. The man was rescued and Anvar was sentenced to 5 years in prison in 2019 for grievous bodily harm.
