NASA experts once again delayed the launch of a superheavy rocket into lunar orbit because of a fuel leak during refueling. It is reported Web site Space Agency.
It was announced that the experts could not solve the problem, now the engineers continue to collect additional data.
August 29 NASA suspended First test launch of the SLS launch vehicle, which is expected to launch the newest Orion spacecraft to the Moon. It was noted that the condition of the launch vehicle is assessed as “stable”, but experts need more time to make a decision on the launch.
The next launch could happen on September 5th. If the launch doesn’t happen, the next opportunity won’t appear until October.
Previously, NASA marked 13 sites around the Moon’s South Pole where astronauts will land on the next Artemis mission.
