The International Court of Justice opens trials about Israel’s humanitarian obligations in Gaza

Mientras Gaza pasa hambre, en La Haya se juzga al responsable. Este lunes la Corte Internacional de Justicia (CIJ), el máximo tribunal de Naciones Unidas, inicia cinco días de audiencias para valorar las obligaciones humanitarias de Israel en el enclave palestino al considerar que está violando el derecho internacional al negarse a permitir el ingreso de ayuda a Gaza. Tras más de 50 días con las fronteras selladas, la población gazatí sufre una hambruna masiva. Por su parte, la Organización para la Liberación de Palestina ha nombrado a un vicepresidente que serviría como sucesor del octogenario presidente Mahmud Abás.
