The Russian Ministry of Transport has developed a bill with a flight height of up to 150 meters on the promotion of a new airspace class for Civil Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) – Class N. Placed on the project Portal Draft regulatory legal actions.
The bill means a simplified procedure to use the airspace for class N UAVs: lack of levels, air traffic controls, optional binary communication and maximum permissible speed up to 450 km/h. Permission is not required for flights in this class.
In addition, the Ministry of Transport proposes to organize special ways for UAVs, four kilometers wide in the G class airspace (more than 150 meters).
