Scientists from Latvia have proved that the physical distance may be important not only for humans, but also for bomber bees. The closer the bomber bees colony to the bee bee with honey bees, the higher the risk of infection with a dangerous parasite – a bomber bee ignition (Aphomia Sociella). Published in İş Magazine Limits in bee science.
Bomblebee’s bomber bee, bomber bees, bees and operating systems lay eggs in the nests. Parasite larvae eat wax, honey, dead insects and the living larvae of the owners in later stages. Strong infections can lead to the death or flight of a colony.
Scientists placed 25 bomber bees (bombs terrestris) at a distance of 0 to 600 meters from six luminaires near Kraslava. In the spring and summer, they followed the existence of the firewalls, the development of colonies, and the immunity of the Bombus bees.
The results were clear: The probability of infection with each additional meter distance from the bee zone was reduced by 0.6%. In addition, more bomber bees and future queens were born in the colonies away from the bees, and the immune response in insects was 3.5% higher with each meter distance.
“We found that the infection of Bomblebees and infection is much higher if they are close to bees, bumblebees’ fire colonies, Professor of Dauvpils and Riga universities.
The neighborhood with air can reduce the immunity of bombs bees not only because of the infection of the fire, but also due to floral competition. Weak bomber bees become vulnerable to other diseases, which is concerned about the background of a global reduction in the number of dusting due to the loss of habitat, pesticide and climate changes.
