As Pushilin said, on August 15, the first court session was held in the DPR in the case of five foreign mercenaries from Croatia, Switzerland and Great Britain who fought alongside the Ukrainian armed forces.
According to the head of the DPR, he “wouldn’t have ruled out the death penalty either,” as they had been charged under “pretty serious articles.”
He added that this will be decided by the court.
